Ok... the previous posting <http://tinyurl.com/vrtlo> I read seems to  
refer to the encryption method as "NDS Videoguard" and the CAM used  
as a "Dragon".

More research indicates that rather than simply a "3rd-party  
programmable" CAM this might be better described as an "unlicensed  
CAM" (?) and "most commonly used to watch pirate (or at least  
extremely disreputable) filth."

No wonder documentation is scarce.

Obviously this is not mentioned in the list of supported CAM modules:

Am I right in thinking that a CAM will normally not work unless  
drivers have been written for it?
IE: this is a dead loss, mate, forget it
??
Or might I try this untested CAM and happen to find it works fine?

Hmmmn... so it might be as simple as buying an additional set of the  
hardware I use & giving it to a UK-based developer? Result!
