I've tried every combination of setting available on the sound
configuration page. One thing I noticed was that it if I choose /dev/dsp
then I get sound, however if I choose /dev/adsp I don't. But Nothing so
far has allowed me to adjust the volume.

Is it possible to set the remote up to adjust the volume of the Ubuntu
itself? Like the volume keys on my keyboard, which just seem to work.

Regards
Ian
