Not true. many devices with DVI ports also support HDCP. Look for "DVI 
with HDCP" on the spec sheet. HDMI is identical to DVI except for the 
miniaturized plug, /obligatory/ HDCP support and the transmission of 
audio data in conjunction with the video signal. A very simple DVI to 
HDMI adapter will allow the two to interconnect.
