If you are willing to through that kind of cash at this particular problem
great but, I've got a few cheaper idea's.  Spend 1/4th of the money you
would have on the MCE box to quite your mythbox and move it to the tv.   No
more transcode issues.

++User jobs, very handy.

I hear that a 360 will stream video from a UPNP client now without the need
for MCE.
