[mythtv-users] multiple sources with overlapping channels

Hi,

I have two video inputs -- one PVR150 taking the input from a cable
STB, and a DVB-C card picking up the FTA channels. How should I
configure these to avoid duplicate channels and have the program guide
understand which channel I'm on correctly?

Currently I have a uk_rt source which has all the channels and I have
been using with the PVR150. To set up the DVB-C card I originally
configured it with EIT data.

Should the two inputs use the same video source (i.e. the XMLTV one)
for the backend to realise that the two channels are the same?
Currently I have:

4747 102 NULL 4 BBC Two BBC Two none NULL 0
	32768 32768 32768 32768 Default 0 1 1 28 2502
	NULL 0 0 0
and
102 102 102 3 BBC Two BBC Two
	/home/mythtv/.mythtv/icons/tv/bbc2.gif NULL
	west.bbc2.bbc.co.uk 0 32768 32768 32768 32768 Default 0
 	1 0 NULL 0 NULL 0 0 0

for an example two versions of a channel in the database. When I watch
this channel on the DVB-C card and then go into the EPG again, it
comes up on the first channel (100) rather than 102 that I am
currently watching. What kind of misconfiguration is this?

Robin
