[mythtv-users] LVM and ext3, reduction?

So I finally get all this working, thanks everyone. However, now I have
another related issue with it. I installed a Promise Ultra 66 controller
so that I could fit all the drives to use with LVM in (4 PATA drives), and
then put my DVD-Burner on the Promise controller.

Apparently I now find out that the Promise controller doesn't support DMA
for ATAPI devices (yay). So I need to move it back to the primary
controller, and move one of my video drives to the Promise card.
Currently, I have:

/dev/hdb1 250GB
/dev/hdc1 500GB
/dev/hdd1 320GB
/dev/hdg DVD Burner

I have less than half of the space used, so I could potentially move all
the data off the 250, remove it from the group, resize the filesystem,
reboot, move the drive, and add it back in. From reading the HOWTO I
can't find an easier route, but it seems like I should be able to swap hdb
and hdg, and run some command to let LVM know the drive has moved. Is
this possible?

Ben
