[mythtv-users] tuning in while recording...

Hello,

When watching a channel, a recording on the same channel can start with
the user still being able to watch the show.

When the recorder starts recording on a channel, the user cannot use
that tuner anymore to start watching but is expected to browse the
recordings.

Why can't the use see  the picture being recorded as in the first situation?
