The cabling is fine - I get a full colour signal when using my BTTV card.

The cabling arrangement ATM is:
- Nova-S Plus card plugged into a quad-LNB on the dish
- Sky Digital decoder plugged into a BTTV card via a RGB -> S-Video
converter

(The above arrangement is working fine)

I figured that since the Nova-S Plus has a S-Video input that's supported
by the BTTV drivers it would make sense to connect the decoder to that,
freeing up the stand-alone BTTV card to do other stuff such as recording
off analogue TV, etc.

Yes, audio is connected to the card through a 3.5mm jack.
