Hmm, maybe are you using the PVR-350 decoder for the PVR-350 recordings?
While the transcoded video is using some other playback method that
uses the frame buffer capabilities of the card? From your description
it sounds like only the latter is not working. In order to fix that
the devs would need to know what video output method is being used
for the transcoded material. Is it XVideo, XShm, other? If you don't
know this, it can be determined by a "mythfrontend -v playback" log
when you play back the transcoded file. You would need to attach
this to your ticket in the MythTV bug tracker.
