A good run-through of moving from a regular atrpms install to building
SVN is on the wiki:

http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Installing_MythTV_SVN_on_Fedora_Core

It makes the point of using 'rpm -qa | grep myth | xargs rpm -e' to
remove just the MythTV packages - removing the mythtv-suite
metapackage can remove everything it brought in which is not the
desired effect if you want to keep the dependencies installed for a
SVN build. There may also be some extra dependencies not listed on the
wiki page - I seem to recall earlier in the year I needed to hunt down
some extra packages, plus the mytharchive deps Ron alluded to in his
earlier message.
