You don't need that extension.  It just puts the full screen icon in the 
toolbar.  You can use F11 or select View|Full Screen to enter full 
screen mode.

Or, with the Autohide extension ( 
http://www.mouserunner.com/FF_Tips_Full_Screen.html ), you can actually 
start Firefox in full screen.

But with lircmd running, you'll have to dedicate 6 remote buttons to 
mouse control (both inside and outside of Myth--even though the mouse is 
useless within Myth).  I keep saying I'm going to implement a Firefox 
LIRC plugin, but haven't found the time, yet...  Perhaps I'm 
subconsciously hoping to find that someone else did/does one before I 
start on it.
