Unfortunately there's not much I can tell from this. You've thrown a
lot of things in the mix, with a manually altered rex_fta script running
alongside the original script, using two separate sets of config & cache
files, and being co-ordinated by four cron jobs.

I'm also unclear on what exactly the problem is, because on the one hand
you say that you're missing channels, but also that "it fills up my
database with non-existent channels." It sounds like you have both too
much and too little data!

I'm not aware of anyone else experiencing a problem like this (if there
is, please chime in). So I'm assuming it's an isolated configuration
problem.

I can help you debug, but you'll need to get rid of all the extra stuff
you've added: strip back to just a single instance of the unaltered Rex
script, remove your cron jobs, --configure it from scratch, run it in
--debug mode (not via mythfilldatabase or cron), and e-mail me what you get.
