The lirc config is all dependent on who makes your IR receiver. I know there
are some default configs for the Hauppauge cards.
2. Is there a pronto config for mythtv?
I don't believe anyone has done an official one yet. I've got mine working,
but the graphics are just the default graphics. I hope to have a friend or
someone with some graphic ability to pretty mine up. I'd be happy to share
mine if you'd like, it's for the TSU7000 version of the Pronto.
3. If I go about assigning my own RC5 codes then should I use a particular

When you setup the config in the Pronto windows program you won't select a
manufacturer/equipment code. I just added an IR code command to the button
then clicked the RC 5/6/MM button and entered the code for that button.
