Paul, Daniel,

Thanks for the response.  This is pretty much the answer I was hoping for - 
time to go shopping for the card!  I will try it out on my current mythtv 
install (0.19 on FC4) as per Paul's instructions and go from there 
(apologies for the initial email being in html).
