My guess: you had previously set "IgnoreEDID" (as many 1080p TV's don't 
provide valid EDID info to support a 1080p resolution).  "IgnoreEDID" is 
now deprecated (and no longer affects the behavior of the X driver).  
You need to specify "UseEDID" and/or "UseEdidFreqs", "UseEdidDpi", and 
"ModeValidation".

BTW, does anyone else absolutely hate that they now have a "pretty" HTML 
README, but no plain text version?  No more "Find in page" to search the 
whole README--you have to know/find the right section first...  If 
anyone's found a single-page (HTML or text) README on the website, I'd 
love to know the address.  :)
