[mythtv-users] lirc not creating a device...

I am using a Hauppauge PVR 350 with FC5.  Ever since I started using 
kernel 2.6.16-1.2080_FC5, I have had no remote.  The lirc_i2c and 
lirc_dev modules load, and dmesg tells me that it's got the driver 
registered.

lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, at major 61

However, no /dev/lirc, /dev/lirc0 or /dev/lirc/0 device is created.  
This hampers my ability to run lircd.

My lirc version is 0.8.1cvs (also tried with the latest release from 
atrpms for 2.6.16-1.2080_FC5).  Video4linux, in case it matters, is 
20040410-70.rhfc5.at.

I have a couple of different /dev/usb/rules.d/lirc.rules files that I've 
tried, but that doesn't seem to make any difference.

Anyone with suggestions, ideas, etc. please feel free to reply.
