[mythtv-users] Commercial Detection and Transcoding

In searching for my own answers I remembered that one way to finalize videos you have 
recorded in Myth (to answer Craigs post) is to use nuvexport - this will list all the 
shows you have recorded and allow you to transcode them while honoring a cut list 
(which if your mythtv is setup correctly should have already been generated)
