[mythtv-users] Question from newbie

[POC]

Hi, I'm a Windows user that's transitioning to Linux. As I learn more about
Linux, I stumbled upon MythTV that sounded so great.

My question, if I don't have cable/satelite can I still use MythTV? In
another word, Since I'm only using regular plain old TV antena can I use
MythTV to replace my old VCR as well as pause a TV program?

Also, can I use the same box for the front-end and back-end?
