Well, I can definitely try upgrading to the latest SVN
- I don't think I can use the fixes branch because
there is a commit that I require in order to have
proper program guide listings, and I don't think it is
in -fixes.

I can also try moving my recordings off to another
drive to see if that works - I have actually thought
of doing a seperate backend/frontend system to see if
that works out.  In theory, it should get rid of
problems with commercial flagging and SQL queries, but
it also means that I have to move my capture cards to
another machine (and run my cables elsewhere in the
apartment).
