If it's really myth, and they've modified mythbackend to have cablecard
support, then there may be GPL issues involved.  If the cablecard
support is in a binary module, however, and mythbackend has hooks to
speak to that binary module, then all they would have to provide
(subject to the terms of the GPL version involved) would be the
modifications to mythbackend, not the source to said binary module...
Either way, it's probably worth someone contacting them to find out the
real story...
