[mythtv-users] Re: lircd starts fine, but crashes as soon as something tries to use it

I have the exact same problem on a fresh Fedora Core 4 system, lirc runs
fine after I install it the first time, or if I reinstall it. But when I
reboot, it is still running until something tries to access it (ie. MythTV).
I'll try the symlink tonight.
