[mythtv-users] help with migrating from Mandrake 10.0 to Gentoo

In case of Gentoo, make sure that the user your are using for your
testing has the correct group memberships. If you look at the Gentoo
Handbook, it explains which groups you have to be a member of. Looking
at /etc/group will also help.

As far as your device information is concerned, that may be a symlink,
go to /dev and do an ls -al /dev/dvb.adapter0.frontend0 it may tell
you if it is pointing to another device entry.
