Interesting, that's the first I've heard of that.  But, there are 2
major issues:
1. The price is steep
2. DirecTV is going to require that all DTV receivers be replaced
within the next year as they transition to MPEG-4 transport.  So you'd
have to play for another mod once the new receivers come out.
