 Ummm or you could just use the mythtv default of a single mysql.txt in
/usr/local/share/mythtv/  and then it wouldn't matter what use launched 
mythfrontend.

 Of course packagers like to put everything in different places so if you
are using a package the global default location could be somewhere else.
