[mythtv-users] Possibilities of building a pci based card to work with cable provider's cable cards?

 Why build a new card? They already make PCI cards that accept PCMCIA. 
Wouldn't it be easier to just pop a PCMCIA card into your box and then make 
it work with existing tuners via software? Or is this just not possible for 
some reason?
