Can't really help you other than to say there's some JACK-support code 
in Myth.

./configure --help

shows

  --disable-audio-jack     disable JACK audio support

(JACK support is autodetected, but you can explicitly disable it if you 
like.)  As for how to get it working, I can't tell you.
