[mythtv-users] HDTV format question

I just hooked up two Samsung widescreens via DVI to
HDMI. Both worked great. 1st of all, both were
recognized via DDC and had a bunch of resolutions.

The HDTV TV (720p native resolution) runs everything
with the GUI at 720p just fine - no additional
modeline required beyond what DDC detected.

For the EDTV, I had to use the 1080i modeline from
Jarod's instruction. Anything else and the HDTV would
have the right 3rd of the image cut off at the edge.
