The HD1000 and HD1500 are the same model except the 1500 comes with some art
packs. The 128 MB your talking about is only available in the REV B models.
I don't think any of the older REV A models are around anymore anyway. So
you should be good to go. If you are buying in a store then you can look on
the bottom of the box (or unit) where it will say REV B.

And I'm using it as a frontend to Myth. I'm using it to watch HD on my SD
Sony Wega Tv. It downscales 1080i to 480i beautifully. Hopefully soon I can
get a proper HD set.
