I think you're right. After I manually set the start channel to a
valid entry, Live TV "worked"

There were about 50 or so channels it found in list.txt, but the first
few I tried seemed to be encrypted, or had no video. However, I'd
already found a good sample to start with - when I'm up and running,
I'll go back and explore the other entries :)
