Without knowing more about your setup, e.g. what version of mythtv
your running and so on.
I would guess that your mysql database is corrupted.

Try
mysqlcheck -umythtv -pmythtv mythconverg

and see if it reports any errors.
Errors can be fixed using:
mysqlcheck -r -umythtv -pmythtv mythconverg

The chances are that all your previous scheduling data has been
trashed, but if it's a corrupted db, then the repair command should
allow you to add items to the schedule again.
