[mythtv-users] timezone problem with dvb and two satellites

Hello,

I'm in the process of setting up my mythtv stuff. I have one
satellite dish with two heads (Astra 19 and Astra 28) connected via
Diseqc 1.1. Works really good, ie. I can switch from a channel on
input 0 to a channel on input 1 without a hitch.

Astra 19 is for German TV, and Astra 28 for UK TV. Now, the problem
is Germany is UTC+0100, and the UK is UTC.

The backend's time is

sh-3.00$ date
Thu Nov 24 22:46:33 CET 2005
sh-3.00$ date -u
Thu Nov 24 21:46:42 UTC 2005

but all guide data is off set by one hour backward in time as if CET
were UTC. ntp is installed, and ntpdate ran.

I'm retrieving the EPG using tv_grab_dvb which is fed directly into
mythfilldatabase.

The downloaded guide data is already wrong:

<programme channel="28109.dvb.guide" start="20051124220500"
stop="20051124230000">
        <title lang="deu">Tracks</title>
</programme>

The programme should start at 23:05 and finish at 00:00.

I have played around with the time offset for XMLTV listings in
mythtv-setup, but Auto, +0100, or None don't change anything. I have
reloaded the guide data after making these modifications, and
restarted the mythtv backend.

Essentially, at the moment I can't record a programme.

Anyone?

cheers,
Jakob.
