That I believe. While gentoo is a difficult operating system, it's easier to
get myth working because
of how difficult it is to find binaries of myth, lirc, ivtv, etc that play
nicely. Gentoo compiles all of
them from scratch, so they HAVE to work. Makes getting XV to work a breeze,
since X11 is all
compiled from scratch anyway, adding a driver in is no big deal.
