This advice doesn't apply for IvyTV.  Because the Hauppauge PVR-x50's 
are creating the stream in the format you specify, Myth just dumps the 
stream to disk.

With DVB/ATSC, the stream is always transmitted as a Transport Stream 
(TS).  Myth can (could) either dump the TS to disk or re-write it into a 
Program Stream (PS).  It is the support for re-writing a TS to a PS on 
the fly that's being dropped.  Myth will play back any MPEG-2 PS or TS.
