So, here's my DEMSG excerpt:

There's also a lot of stuff about IRQ 11 being disabled, "nobody cared",  
weird stuff like that. But since the machine can ping itself both at  
localhost and at the IP I've set it up as (192.168.0.240) I'm not sure  
it's relevant.
