Not quite true. I've updated the mythburn-ui mythfrontend plugin. Its
just an alternative frontend to the mythburn scripts than the mythweb
interface. It uses the mythburn scripts rather than replaces them.
I've been trying to contact spit2k1 who wrote the original mythburn scripts
and started work on the mythburn-ui plugin to see if he would like to update
the version available on sourceforge but he hasn't replied to my emails.
Martin Bene who has done some excellent work on improving the scripts recently
said he would host the files on his site if necessary but I think there is enough confusion
surrounding mythburn without adding to it by having different versions of the plugin available
from different places.
As for the future eventually archiving and burning dvds will be supported directly from mythtv
would be my guess. I think there are far to many dependencies needed by the scripts for Isaac
to consider adding them to the core mythtv at the moment. There is some work going on by
Geoff Hausheer that should eventually remove the need for ProjectX but it may be a while before
its ready. Some of the others may be replaced by stuff that is already in myth like grabbing screen
shots for the menus etc.

The official mythburn site is the sourceforge site
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mythburn
Martin has also a site
http://mabene.icomedias.com/mythburn/
with his latest version available from
http://mabene.icomedias.com/mythburn/mythburn.tar.gz
No idea if it works with x64 on fc3 you'd have to check to see if there are x64
packages available for all the dependencies.
