For xine, use "-V xv", or for MPlayer, use "-vo xv".  XvMC (I'm assuming 
that's what you're trying) requires a real video card with iDCT and/or 
Motion Compensation support--neither of which is supported by the 
PVR-350's frame buffer driver.
