Bravo. YOu've obviously learned the hard way, to make notes. I haven't
made notes doing my install of Fedora Core4 on a Via SP13000 but I
have
    been cursing..

Last night, mythbackend reported (happily) that it had recorded Bob
Vila
from 5:00 am to 6:00 am...but there were no recordings when I went to
    play...Huh??

And now I'm going to do a complete blow it all away install, because I
suspect that I have had the same problem with non-incremented
/dev/videox
    numbers as you..

I would be much obliged if you could send your note to the list, since
it's not clear to me that those with the best ability to start fixing
the problems believe that this is an issue in the first place. If you
-really- wanna lurk, can I forward this after stripping headers?

(Though I'd rather you sent it. :)

Anyway, thanks.
