[mythtv-users] Can't mute, can't change 6cg AC3 volume, audio volume shift on play

exactly!  this is how it's supposed to work ... AC3 pass-through does 
exactly that: passes through without being touched ... think line-out on 
a stereo ... volume, EQ, etc don't effect it ... what i do on my system 
is set the non-AC3 stuff to a decent volume (around 75%, iirc) and only 
use my surround sound system's receiver to control the volume (i don't 
even have the vol+/- buttons on my remote mapped to anything)
