Have you ever heard of any signal incompatibility issues with Panasonic
TVs using component inputs?

I've got a Key Digital VGA->Component converter in use with a Panasonic
36PD30 (standard def). It does progressive input and I can get rock
solid pictures at 576p, 576i, 480p etc but it flashes its input
identifier in the corner, as if it thinks there's a problem with the
signal somewhere. If I use my DVD player's component out, there's no
such problem with the picture.

I tried messing around with the polarity of the sync signals, but it
makes no difference :(
