[mythtv-users] Mythphone - Can't open ALSA ?

Hi

I've been using using MythTV for a couple of months now.
Great application!!. Thanks to all the developers and to Jarod for the 
excellent  HOWTO.

I've just started trying to use MythPhone and I'm having a problem opening 
the audio output "ALSA:digital".
Snip of output from Mythfrontend:

....

It works OK if I select the std audio device "/dev/dsp" (I have to use 
headphones).
Mythphone is correctly using the webcam and its internal microphone.

I using FC3, with v18.0.  with audio output via onboard optical spdif to a 
home theatre amp.
This works well for music, live-tv, recordings and xine dvd playback etc.
I use a slightly modified version of Mike Dean's ALSA digital .asoundrc 
definition from http://www.mythtv.info/moin.cgi/DigitalSoundHowTo

Does anyone have any ideas?
