Well, there must be some other library or something that is bad, because 
I've been running for months on latest CVS without a backend crash. When 
I first had my Myth setup going, it would crash at least once a day, but 
now it's pretty much rock solid. I started with KnoppMyth (0.17), and 
then upgraded it to 0.18 latest CVS (which I keep pretty current, within 
a few days of latest). I have not touched the OS at all, it just works.
