[mythtv-users] Niveus with Lirc and one other odd problem.

I ran into a problem getting my USB Niveus to work with Lirc.  I tested
it on my laptop in Windows and it worked just fine.  lsmod shows
lirc_atiusb is loaded and lsusb detects an x10 plugged in.  I've added
the required alias lines from Jarod's handy guide.  lirc starts up just
fine with no errors and irw does as well, but when I push buttons on the
remote no output is given.  I have tried using a few different lirc.conf
files that others have posted and that hasn't seemed to work.

So I decided to move on and worry about that later.  I setup mysql and
ran the mythtv setup program.  For some reason I can't get passed the
first step that asked you if you want it to keep or delete your capture
card settings.  I hit space or enter on either of the options and
nothing happens.  I alt+tab back to my terminal and the program doesn't
seem to be printing any errors.

Help on either of these would be very greatly appreciated.
