nano is the new pico. Comes with the Fedora distro, and probably some
others. By far the easiest editor to use, IMHO. However, it's easy to
get stuck using nano (pico) and never move on to the more advanced
text editors, so I would recommend learning vi and using nano when a
user gets stuck or needs to fix something quickly.
