I think one of the Compaq high-end machines uses a Silverstone case.
It shouldn't be surprising that readymade PCs generally have the cheapest
available motherboard, case, PSU etc.
I actually briefly capitulated and bought a Compaq Presario Desktop. It was
decent value, but the machine is not real fast. The BIOS is not
configurable, the memory runs with way too many waits (slow), the
motherboard graphics (VIA Unichrome) are very slow (esp. compared with the
Intel Extreme Mobo graphics) and suck at running the X screensaver GL stuff.
I think I'm back to putting my own stuff together again.
