That's actually small compared to here.
I've got 19 Digital transmitters in range here, and several of them
do multiple channels per transmitter, so I would guess there are
close to 30 channels here, though that includes a few duplicates at
SD resolution (and a couple of pure duplicates) and of course some
boring channels you would never watch like 4 sub-channels of religious
programming, some spanish and Chinese programming etc.
I could get even more if I wanted to put up a fancy antenna but they
would be mostly duplicates (extra network affiliates etc.)
So mostly I tune the biggies, nbc/abc/cbs/upn/wb/fox with occasional
use of the HDnet demo channel, the weather and news subchannels etc.
Most of the non-premium (ie. not HBO/Showtime) is on these channels
of course. About all there is otherwise (not counting Voom) is
Discovery HD and ESPN-HD. Though that will change. There are other
channels (TNT-HD for example) which don't have much HD yet.
