I'm running a Dell gx150 as one of my frontends which uses the intel8x0
drivers. I found that the headphone mixer control has significant impact
on the speaker out!?!

I can't explain this but if I set master, headphone and PCM to about 80%
then the myth vol controls give me the range I'm looking for.

Mark.
