[mythtv-users] Channel scanning

  Is there any work, creating a "channel scanner" that can be used to fill in 
the "channel ID" (frequency ID) for the channels?  I know that this does not 
work directly with "mythfilldatabase" and the setup for xmltv.  But sometimes 
you want to have channels setup, which you can record "manually", even if 
they don't have a listed program, from mythfilldatabase.  It would also 
simplify the "filling" in of the ID's, so one wouldn't have to use xawtv for 
that purpose.
