I use it with my notebook and not my MythTV box (which has a wired connection),
but I have an SMC2536W-AG:

It was relatively easy to set up with the madwifi driver under Gentoo Linux.
The SMC2512W-AG is the same card bundled with a PCI CardBus adapter. Its
wireless performance is fairly decent, too. On a recent trip, it got a solid
11-Mb/s connection from my hotel room to the wireless LAN at another hotel
about a mile away with just the built-in antenna (there's no provision for an
external antenna).

(lspci says it's an Atheros AR5212 802.11a/b/g NIC.)
