Hehehe, now that's just funny! Actually, I recorded The Smurfs because I
didn't know they still showed it. I used to watch it as a kid... I can't
believe how horrible the cartoon is. Don't worry it was a one time thing!

Could someone suggest a show that works all the time? I'll record it and
see if the commercials get detected correctly. Looking back through the
messages from good ol' gossamer, it sounds like Jeopardy! works fairly well.
I'll try that to start with (if I can find it in the programming guide).
So I just checked out a brand-new clean CVS version of mythtv and
recompiled and got it up and running. I reran the commercial detection on
the same Simpsons episode I was usiung before using the default blank frame
detection, it found three of the four commercial breaks but again they are
between 20 seconds and 1 minute of offset from where they should be. I
tried running it again with the ALL method and it again only found 1 break
right at the front which was also 20+ seconds off (same as before). I'll
try wheel of fortune next.
Thanks,
-Greg
