Like crap.

Which capture card is this?  I'm strongly skeptical of such a thing. 
If it is the ATI TV Wonder VE, it is fully capable of capturing
720x480, despite what ATI says -- the limitation is merely in their
driver.  The only other limitation is the mono tuner (which is a
hardware limitation).

All BT848/878 cards can do 720x480.
